Ever since Dr. Yeny Fernandez was a little girl, she was passionate about pursuing a profession that would allow her to help maintain and improve other people’s health. When she discovered dentistry, she realized it was the perfect job—it combined her passion, talent, and ability to work with her hands.Dr. Yeny Fernandez studied dentistry in her native country, Cuba, and graduated as a doctor in dental surgery in 1995. In 2002, she emigrated to the United States and began working as a dental assistant in 2003. Her next career move was to become a dental hygienist while still studying General Dentistry at the UF College of Dentistry at the University of Florida. In 2013, she graduated and began to work as a General Dentist and was associated with different dental clinics across Miami, Florida.
